Chicago’s Big Band.
A Chicago staple in the big band scene since 2010, Big Band Boom! brings the classics alive as it authentically recreates music from a bygone era. We are fronted by a number of Chicago’s top singing talent such as Kimberly Gordon, Nicole Kestler, and Candace Washburn, and can be found playing for events, art fairs, park district concerts and private/corporate parties.
Catch us at our monthly gig at the the Gallery Cabaret in Bucktown as we perform music that spans all eras: 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s Modern Big Band Jazz, as well as a Frank Sinatra tune now and then. There are no rules at the Gallery Cabaret.
We are local to Chicago and the Chicago Suburbs and are big band for hire. Also We travel for Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Iowa for special events.
